Are you having trouble finding or using your purchased stickers on iMessage? You’re not alone. I still read reviews on the App Store from puzzled shoppers who have purchased sticker packs, but can’t find or use them after downloading. If this sounds familiar, I’ve wrote this article for you.
As an iMessage sticker designer, I want everyone to enjoy this fun and interactive service with ease. After all, stickers should be nothing but a great time!
First, be sure to have iOS 10 or later installed on your device. Without iOS 10 or later, stickers will not display appropriately. To check your software is up-to-date with iOS 10, tap Settings > General > Software Update. If it’s not up-to-date, tap Download and Install.
Now that you’re up-to-date, it’s time to download stickers! You can find my ever-expanding animated sticker sets HERE.
Where are the stickers after installing? Follow these simple three steps:
Step 1: Open a message with a friend and tap the “>” button to the left of the text box.
Step 2: Tap the app button that appears (it looks like an “A”) and then tap the button that looks like four circles in the lower left of your screen to open the iMessage app drawer.
Step 3: Tap the sticker icon and start sending stickers!
The graphic below illustrates the three steps above on how to use stickers. As an example, I’ve used my most popular sticker set, Gnome Sweet Gnome – Animated Stickers, to illustrate this. As a side note, I’m proud to mention that they were recently featured on the front page of Apple’s App Store.
