I Revised ‘Pageantry’ Painting by Christian Baloga

I’ve just completed revising the artwork titled ‘Pageantry’. You can now purchase it through Peggy or SaatchiArt.

The artwork is a vividly colored painting presenting a regal scene. The focal point is a figure, Brian Kenny, Mr. Baloga’s muse and fiancĂŠ, seated on an ornate throne with a high back that branches out into stylized, lightning-like forms at the top. The character on the throne wears a theatrical outfit reminiscent of Michael Jackson or a historical royal attire, with yellow and white stripes and bold red pants. Above the figure, a golden arch showcases luxurious decoration, including a crown symbol at the apex, flourishes, and a coat of arms or emblem featuring a ‘BK’ logo beneath the crown.

On either side of the archway, there are banners with the letters ‘BK’ and ornamental patterns. To the left of the throne, a red banner bears the name “Brian Kenny,” while the corresponding position on the right displays the letters ‘BK.’ The throne itself is adorned with golden embellishments, intricate designs, and striking red upholstery. Steps leading up to the throne have a checkerboard pattern, implying a grand entrance. The setting extends a sensation of opulence, grandeur, and perhaps a touch of satire, drawing upon elements of royalty and pageantry.

It’s made from acrylic, pen and ink, and gold liquid leaf paint.

One month ago today my mother passed away; before I awoke she visited me in a vivid dream. “Hey, Chris,” a familiar voice said. I looked up for a fraction of a second and saw a figure in front of me, to my right.

I almost got lost in another dream stream when the second “hey,” caught my full attention. I looked back and saw my mom, smiling. She was bathed in bright white light. Her figure was outlined in different spectrums of pastel colored light. “I miss you,” I told her; she neared and we gave each other a long hug.

She didn’t say anything more; she didn’t need to. This encounter assured me she is still alive in me and always will be. Furthermore, I knew she was at peace.  Continue reading “In Loving Memory of My Beloved Mother Donna L. Baloga”

31 days, 31 drawings: #Inktober2017

I promised myself I’d participate in this years Inktober—despite the incessant discord of life’s current sequence of notes.

According to Inktober.com, for those who don’t know, “Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.”

Inktober provides a prompt for artist but, I’ve instead been creating art with positive messages, most centering on the message of loving peace. Follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram to see them all.

“Friends Not Food”

I was born with a mission to help others. As a child, severe timidity and tumultuous environments made this difficult. So, I gravitated towards animals. I gave more love to my fur babies than most mothers gave to their own children.

“Friends Not Food” is one of many future pieces of art work with a divine message. Since my sister’s death in March and my mom’s diagnosis with brain cancer a month later, there has been a force guiding me to regain a spark I once had in my early teens to early twenties to deliver messages of compassion, peace, love, and hope.

I’ve had hesitation to touch upon certain taboo subjects as I was taught they would turn certain people off. I accept the reality of this and embrace the law of the universe, to attract other high frequency beings wanting similar paths.

What we stand up for and educate others on, if for the greater good of all, will benefit us all, now and forever. If my art eases the suffering of just one, I have achieved a wondrous goal. We all have a responsibility to be a better version of ourselves, for ourselves and for betterment of the entire universe.

In Loving Memory of My Beloved Sister Angela (Angie) Baloga

In Loving Memory of My Dear Sister Angela (Angie) Baloga
November 4, 1987 – March 22, 2017

My only wish each day is to wake up from this nightmare. A morning call on March 22, 2017 altered my life forever. “Angela died,” I hear my mother cry, barely able to get it out. Those words, the reality of it all will haunt me forever.

A dear part of me was stolen. This was not supposed to happen. . . not to a young, loving mother, not to my baby sister. This was not Continue reading “In Loving Memory of My Beloved Sister Angela (Angie) Baloga”

What Horror Author Lydia Peever thinks of ‘Wake the Wicked’

Lydia Peever's Black Lips

“Christian Baloga is an artist, and able to take the reins in nearly all aspects of production unlike many horror authors today. I was impressed by his body of work and multi-faceted nature. As such, Wake The Wicked: Thirteen Twisted Tales leads us beyond a plain spooky read . . .” Continue reading on Peever’s website â‡
